The company's first device, known as the MedPulse®,
was introduced in 2001. It was the first portable HFCWO system
and Electromed's products remain as the only HFCWO products with
soft, breathable vest fabric and the unique "single
offset hose" design that contributes to a more comfortable and relaxed treatment
experience for the patient.
Reflecting Electromed's dedication to innovation, there have been three models
introduced in the last four years, incorporating design and convenience features
that are developed in response to user input. Our customers are able to "upgrade" their SmartVest® model
through the Technology Advancement Warranty - a unique program that keeps product
improvements accessible to all of our patients.
This dedication to improvement has resulted in more than ten patents awarded
on Electromed's HFCWO technology. Electromed's manufacturing facility received
ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 certification in 2004.
